Today on the YouTube channel, I’m sharing a vlog about the time I made Basque sheepherder’s bread in a Dutch oven. It was actually super simple! It just took a lot of elbow grease to knead the dough, but that’s pretty standard with bread baking. Just not something I do often, so it gave me a workout!
If you want to try it yourself, the recipe I used came from Chorizos in an Iron Skillet by Mary Ancho Davis.
Or if you’d rather watch someone else make it, you can see how it all went down on the Hella Basque YouTube channel.
I wanted there to be a resource on YouTube for anyone searching about Basque culture to learn more about it, so I hope this video is helpful and interesting.
